A Voce Columbus Review & Highlight!
Venue Highlight
This Fall A Voce Columbus opened its doors to much anticipation within the event planning community. Given A Voce’s ideal location in the Time Warner Center, this new venue was certain to become a favorite for corporate clients. The space exudes a modern and sleek elegance featuring a candle-lit entry way and floor to ceiling windows, which provide sweeping views of Central Park and Columbus Circle.
Dawn Martorana, Private Events Manager at A Voce Columbus, explains that the restaurant space is quite flexible for galas of all sizes. Small gatherings of 6-12 can enjoy A Voce’s intimate private dining experience within the La Tavola Wine Room (pictured below). Situated in separate area from the main dining chambers, this unique space doesn’t feel claustrophobic like most private eating quarters. Instead, the Rockwell Group (A Voce’s designers) opted to line the walls with double-paned refrigerated wine cabinets (the walls house over 9,000 bottles in all!!)
For more substantial gatherings, the Barolo and Bruenllo rooms (below) are an obvious choice. This space, which has breathtaking views of Central Park can accommodate up to 62 for events. A Voce can house a total of 114 guets and is receptive to restaurant close outs on a case-by-case basis.

Food Review:
Of course an excellent event space is only as good as its grub. A Voce’s Executive Chef Missy Robbins doesn’t disappoint offering a fresh selection of Italian dishes. We sampled the grilled calamari with zucchini and calabrian chili. With the calamri dish, the opposing flavors of the thinly sliced zucchini coupled with the spicy chili made for a nice combination.
For entrees, we tried the pappardelle-braised rabbit and the angello grilled lamb chops. The pappardelle-braised rabbit was simple yet had a unique almost apple cinnamon aroma. The angello grilled lamb chops were tender and cooked to perfection (medium rare). The lamb dish also included bits of spicy lamb sausage, which was an interesting touch. Overall A Voce is well worth the visit especially if you’re a private diner as you are privy to their substantial wine list.
