Plan an event at the Center of it All!
What better place to host a “headline”-grabbing event than at the very headquarters for news and information? Enter The TimesCenter, an innovative event space designed by architect Renzo Piano located at 242 W. 41st Street inside the New York Times Building. Having hosted a plethora of luminaries from around the world, including Andre Agassi, Denzel Washington, Helen Mirren, and Stephen King, The TimesCenter is one of the most happening and culturally relevant event spaces in NYC. The venue consists of three separate event spaces: TheStage, TheHall, and TheGallery. Event options at The TimesCenter are flexible as rooms can be rented individually or in combination.
TheStage, which looks out onto The New York Times Building’s center garden atrium, is an intimate 378-seat theater with a 65 foot wide stage. The venue boasts unobstructed sight lines, state-of-the-art sound, lighting and digital projection, live television and radio broadcast capabilities, and a green room/dressing room/production office suite.

This 5,000 square foot, unencumbered event space is perfect for banquets of up to 400, cocktail receptions for 500, guests or as a trade show or sponsor display gallery. TheHall also includes a full staging kitchen for catering.
