NY's Bohemian National Hall Opens Hospoda Restaurant

Czech & Slovak cultural center unveils restaurant

Last month, Bohemian National Hall, the Czech and Slovak cultural center on the UES, opened Hospoda restaurant.  Hospoda, which means 'beer hall', will serve up contemporary Czech food and drink including fried cheese, pork bellies, and (of course) the popular brew Pilsner Urquell.

The recent restaurant expansion will bolster culinary options for special events at BNH.  The cultural center is truly a 'hidden gem' for events on the Upper East Side.  BNH is housed inside a regal 1896 Renaissance Revival style building originally constructed as a social hall for New York City's immigrant and ethnic communities.
