A Look Ahead: The Barclays Center

In less than a year from now, the The Barclays Center will open for the Brooklyn Nets' 2012-2013 season.  The new venue will be much more than just a basketball court for 18,000 Nets fans.  The arena is slated to host over 200 events other a year including concerts, boxing matches, hockey games, and professional tennis matches.  The venue will be packed with entertainment and amenities including six clubs and restaurants as well as 104 luxury suites. While a fall 2012 opening may be hard to believe (given the picture above), its something to shoot for!
