On May 21st Lincoln Center opened The Lawn at Lincoln Center. This new 10,000 square foot public space adjacent to the Philharmonic, is part of the Lincoln Center’s 1.2 billion dollar renovation project. The project began in 2006 and is scheduled for final completion in early 2012. The new outdoor landscape is concave in shape and sits atop a yet-to-be named Italian restaurant. The Patina Restaurant Group will manage the restaurant space which will include a lounge, a bar, and a large chef’s kitchen.
